Lovecraftian prop collaboration project?

The essential Saltes of Animals may be so prepared and preserved, that an ingenious Man may have the whole Ark of Noah in his own Studie, and raise the fine Shape of an Animal out of its Ashes at his Pleasure; and by the lyke Method from the essential Saltes of humane Dust, a Philosopher may, without any criminal Necromancy, call up the Shape of any dead Ancestour from the Dust whereinto his Bodie has been incinerated.

- Borellus

I've had an idea stuck in my head for a year now regarding a collaborative Lovecraftian prop project, based on Charles Dexter Ward's discoveries in the depths of the Curwen farmhouse. In assuming the trade of essential saltes among mages/necromancers, I always imagined the containers will be as hugely varied as their contents & pictured shelves cluttered with the many different vessels. I wonder if other artists would be interested in assuming the role of necromancer to create a container themed to the story? The medium & subject matter would be entirely up to each artist.

The undecided factor so far, is just how it would come together for display (I'd assume a photo gallery, but who knows?), and perhaps someone more clever than myself has ideas in this direction as well? Let me know if the idea appeals to you and feel free to pass the idea on to another artist you think might also be interested. I'm also posting invitation via the HPLHS, plus a few other emails. If enough find it worthwhile, I'll firm up a few details like timing & so on. For simplicity, I'll collect replies via comments here on the blog.

Looking forward to any feedback on the idea.

Update to the Chaugnar Faugn piece

As always, presented in spectacular FuzzyVision, a few update pics to this piece:

I added the disc shaped snout with lamprey teeth and added eyes. Pretty much set to transfer this to wax for cleanup and detail of the teeth, etc. now. Since it was built on the top of a ceramic box lid, I thinking the first application will be just that... A box used to hold the spices said to preserve his victims until needed.

Chaugnar Faugn (WIP)

"Words could not adequately convey the repulsiveness of the thing. It was endowed with a trunk and great, uneven ears, and two enormous tusks protruded from the corners of its mouth. But it was not an elephant. Indeed, its resemblace to an actual elephant was, at best, sporadic and superficial, despite certain unmistakable points of similarity. The ears were webbed and tentacled, the trunk terminated in a huge flaring disk at least a foot in diameter, and the tusks, which intertwined and interlocked at the base of the statue, were as translucent as rock crystal."

Game of Thrones - White Walker bust

I admit it, I'm hung up on a TV show. It's clearly an addiction when, a week after the finale, I'm listening to the soundtrack & sculpting one of the white walkers shown briefly at the end of the last episode.... or trying to, anyway..
